The data processing for your enrollment is the foundation upon which a successful interface is built. Data sharing can be finicky business, but our team is here to ensure this phase is as precise and streamlined as possible.
To that end, this page provides some important details on enrollment methods, professional development, and data sharing for you to become familiar with prior to your initial onboarding call.
Here’s a quick review of what to expect once you have chosen to implement Amplify programs for your district:
- Complete and submit your Amplify purchase order
- Have a kickoff call with the Amplify Implementation team to gather:
- Materials survey
- Technical survey
- Professional Development needs
- Have a Digital Setup Call between your district’s enrollment manager and the Amplify Enrollment and Licensing team to discuss data
- Enrollment data received and validated
- Receive your launch letter once you are digitally enrolled
The timeline between these steps will vary based on the customized needs of your district. Our Enrollment Process Lifecycle serves as a visual guide to familiarize yourself with enrollment process milestones.
Prepare to Onboard
After you familiarize yourself with the steps and resources below, it’s time to prepare to onboard!
- Enrollment Method
Enrollment Method
During the earliest phase of your enrollment and onboarding process, our team will arrange an onboarding kickoff call to review the Materials, Professional Development, and Technical surveys provided to your district at purchase. Once your district has provided the details requested in the Amplify onboarding surveys, the Digital Setup Call will be scheduled with your district’s enrollment manager. The Digital Setup Call is ideally scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance of the beginning of instruction for your district.
During the Digital Setup Call (approximately 30 minutes), your Amplify Enrollment and Licensing (E&L) partner will walk your district’s enrollment manager through the best method of enrollment for your district, discuss data sharing, login instructions, device questions, and other technical aspects of your program launch – all as part of the Digital Setup Call.
- Key Notes
Important Enrollment Method Notes
At Amplify, we are committed to making the enrollment process as streamlined as possible. While we have made improvements over the past year, we realize there are still aspects of each method that may frustrate you or your teachers. However, we are assured that the necessary improvements are on schedule for a much-simplified 2022–23 enrollment process.
We continually strive to provide you the quality you deserve and the protection your data requires. We thank you for your patience with these challenges during the 2021–22 enrollment.
These are some benefits and requirements to consider as you work with your Amplify implementation partner to determine the best method for your district.

Will your district be utilizing Amplify mCLASS with another Amplify program? This will require that your district provide enrollment data using two separate uploads and is sometimes referred to as Dual Enrollment.

Use stimulus funding to drive transformation
Learn about ESSER I, II, and III funding (or CARES, CRRSA, and ARP) and how to use these funds to help with learning recovery and acceleration. Districts have significant flexibility in how to use the ESSER money, with ESSER II and III specifying that some of the funds should be used to address unfinished learning. All Amplify programs and services meet the criteria for the funding. Get more information about funding and timelines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What is Dual Enrollment?
If your district will be utilizing Amplify mCLASS with another Amplify program, this will require that your district provide enrollment data using two separate uploads and is sometimes referred to as Dual Enrollment. Please review our Dual Enrollment page to familiarize yourself with key steps involved with this specialized enrollment process.
Question: What’s the difference between “enrollment” and “authentication”?
Enrollment refers to how you send your roster data to Amplify. Authentication refers to the process you will use to login. This distinction can be important. For example: We are unable to enroll mCLASS users from or via Clever, however mCLASS users can be authenticated to utilize Clever to login to mCLASS and other Amplify programs.
Question: How long will it be before my district is enrolled?
We are working diligently to complete enrollment as quickly as possible. Our typical implementation process takes 10-14 business days, depending on when you are contacted to begin the enrollment process. That timeline is dependent on data integrity and response time.
Question: Will Enrollment Admins who have access to Amplify Enrollment Upload have access to the products our district has purchased?
Enrollment Admins can be entitled to a program, but they will not have default access.
Question: What is self-service enrollment (SSE)?
SSE is a batch enrollment tool with a manual interface for sending mCLASS enrollment data to Amplify. Auto Self-Service Enrollment (Auto SSE) is a batch enrollment tool that automatically sends your mCLASS enrollment data to Amplify using our secure web service. You can learn more in the mCLASS Help Library.
Question: What is the Materials Survey?
The Materials Survey will address your curriculum material needs and the logistics involved with shipping and receiving curriculum materials.
Question: What is the Technical Survey?
The Technical Survey provides the background information needed to help your Enrollment & Licensing partner recommend the best enrollment solution for your district or school for the year. That survey will cover the following topics:
- Technical prerequisites for connecting with and using Amplify products
- Which products your district has used in the past, as well as any products you’re planning on adding this year
- Your preferred enrollment and authentication methods
- Your district’s or school’s back-to-school timeline
